If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be "Creative." I have always found challenges in life to be an opportunity to think outside the box, and that mindset now drives every discipline I work in. Music has been my lifelong passion and the root of that creativity, a thread that runs through everything else I build, whether that's a song, a system, or a solution. With more than 12 years of making music, collaborating with world-renowned artists, and winning music awards along the way, I've learned to think beyond the tools at my disposal and focus instead on limit-inspired creativity: the idea that real constraints, not unlimited resources, are what force the best ideas forward.

That same eye for composition carries into visual art, where I'm drawn to layering, balance, and negative space, the kind of instinct that shows up when I'm designing cover art for songs or putting together music videos. Much of that instinct comes from nature itself: I find endless inspiration in the outdoors, in the patience of a garden as it grows on its own timeline, and especially in birds, whose movement, color, and quiet intelligence remind me that some of the best design already exists around us; we just have to notice it.

Cooking brings all of this together in the most literal sense, since I treat a grill the way I treat a mix or a canvas, thinking in zones, timing, and layers of flavor, whether I'm working indirect heat to keep something tender or finishing hot and fast to lock in char and color. I see cooking as one of the most pronounced ways of showing love to my family and my church community.

As a working IT Professional, my skills in problem solving and attention to detail have earned me the reputation as the go-to person whenever my team faces an unconventional problem, a testament to which my team and my superiors can vouch, and to whom I humbly credit the successes I see in my role as Team Lead for Shared-Services at Randstad Digital. I truly believe in being a valuable individual who doesn't just surpass expectations, but creates new ones that are consistently met and explored. At the core, every part of who I am (the music, the visuals, the garden, the grill, the code, the ticket queue) is really the same instinct wearing different clothes: notice the constraint, find the shape hiding inside it, and build something that wasn't there before.

Evidently, God has been the cornerstone of all of it, standing front and center in my work, my play, and my marriage. As a Life Group teacher, I wholeheartedly study the Bible to prepare satisfying lessons, so that when I stand in front of the class, I can share the word of God clearly and lead them a step closer to Christ.

That's the version of "creative" I try to live up to: one rooted in faith, expressed through everything I do, and offered back for something bigger than myself.
